"Heram-Dagh" and "Kasra-Dagh" from top of Mt. Sabalan

Located in NW corner of Iran in Ardebil province, "Heram-Dagh" and "Kasra-Dagh" are two beautiful peaks with more than 4500 height. Despite their potential for various fields of mountaineering, these two peaks are widely affected by the fame of their eastern volcanic neighbor, Mt. Sabalan (4825 m), the third highest mountain in Iran. This photo shows Mt. Kasra-Dagh at right hand side and Heram-Dagh I, II and III peaks which are connected by a rocky flank at left hand side. It has been taken in summers’ second day, when sun rose.
